Hit and Run

A hit and run was captured on video yesterday, and the nation watched in horror as cars and bystanders just let the victim lie in the street.  It took nearly 4 minutes before a good samaritan got stopped to help him.  Should we be surprised that this happened?  Honestly; we live in a country now where the most important person is YOU, and there is little to no accountability any more.  I sat horrified as I watched this story, but was not surprised that it happened.  I fear for our future.

Iraq War

There are a lot of peole out there who are against the war in Iraq, and even Afganistan.  Citizen’s, actors/actresses, and politicians are among this group.  Have you noticed thought that an overwhelming group in support of the war (and this president) is the military.  Many troops are volunteering for another tour of duty.  This is happening because the troups are noticing what is going on over there; and the impact that they are making on the citizens of Iraq.  There is a lot of good, and the best thing for the military and Iraq is for us to finish the job that we set to do.  Knowing this, it’s not surprising to see that the majority in the military vote republican.

So when you vote this November and think about the troops, listen to what the troops think is best, not those loud mouths in Washington and on tv think is best for them.
