Our Soldiers
admin / Category: Iraq WarI was listening to our local Air America station the other day, and they were talking about how the soldiers who were dying over in Iraq were not dying to protect or freedom, but were dying more like occupiers. They also went as far as saying that the people who are killing our soldiers are just protecting their land from us intruders. How can they spit such garbage? The truth of the matter is this. Many soldiers who are there are there because they realize the good that is going on over there, and that they are establishing a better way of life for all Iraqis, and the attacks are coming from people from outside of Iraq who don’t want freedom spread through the middle east. Also, soldiers are going over there because they realize that they are protecting our freedom and way of life. They know that if they are in Iraq, terrorists will go over to Iraq and focus on the troops who are trying to spread freedom, rather than plot an attack on U.S. soil. I know this because I have a friend in the military, and I’ve spoken with a few military wives. One final note, terrorism worldwide is going down. Think about that before you start bashing the war, and shouting for change.
