admin / Category: UncategorizedAs we all know, Paul Newman passed away last Friday. Although he was not an actor of my genearation, I did see a few movies that he was in. I have a great respect for Mr. Newman because he did not step into the spotlight like many actors do today. He did what he did best; act, race and raise money for charities. The money that he raised was uncomprehendable, and the lives that he changed are numberous.
I have no doubt that Paul was a democrat; almost everybody in Hollywood is. What I admire though is the fact that he left his political preference to himself. Never once did I see him on tv trying to rock the vote, or saying condescending remarks about a leader in office. He realized that his fans didn’t care what his political preference was. His fans cared that he put his heart and soul in the entertainment that he provided; and we need more of these actor’s in Hollywood. Shut up Whoopi, Speilberg, Streisand and Clooney. I don’t want to know how you believe the world should be run, or which person should run the free world. I want you to make me forget about the world and entertain me; much like Paul Newman.
