‘W’

Many of you are probably aware that Oliver Stone; who else, has decided to make a historically accurate film portraiting George W. Bush. Well; I’m pretty sure that he left out the historically accurate portion. The movie comes out in October, and it is a clear attack on Bush in an attempt to swing voters to vote for the democratic nominee.

Although I feel that this film is disrespectful to the George W. Bush (as it probably is intended) and disrespectful to the presidency, I am thankful that such a film is allowed to be made. Because we live in a free society; where free speech reigns, we are allowed to voice our displeasure in ways that are allowed by law and outlined in the constitution. Think about the citizens in Iraq, Cuba, China, and Iran who do not a voice. The leaders of these countries obstruct the voice of the people; and many who disagree are enslaved or put to death.

So before you go on complaining how this movie is an outrage; which it is, be thankful that such a movie can be made.
